Hidden within a sanctuary of soil and clay Obfuscated within life's beating heart Wild roots and tangles find their way Longing culminates like a fiendish black art Inner currents swell and surge Nirvana in reach, awaiting the will Generating the need to give in to the urge Winter overthrown for Summer's thrill Inclination to be greedy and overgrown Levitate, luminate, rampage and ruminate Defy all limitations previously known Everything honed in pursuit of fate Rest for repletion follows rush of completion Necessary fever and fervour at play Eventide lull a glimpse of eventual depletion Sacred the journey, no cause for dismay Summer has ended, but you lived for a day
