How To Meditate
We
begin
by looking
inwards gently,
without agenda,
devoid of all desires,
which are invariably
merely ego urgings feral.
We shift deep into our heart centre,
abiding in thought rested awareness.
Well begun is half done, so what remains?
What self blocks ever present silence?
Why does attention oscillate?
Let us pause cause of stupor,
choosing to resonate
with the throb of love
aglow within:
the current,
joyful
bliss.
