How Things Used To Be
You used to be the object of my affection,
even though you were deranged;
You used to be my selection,
but a lot of things have changed;
I don't need you anymore,
and I made it here without you;
I used to be in love with you but now I found a cure,
You meant a lot to me, more than anyone knew,
But things are a lot different now that you are gone,
I am good without you; really, I am fine;
I'm doing great and now I'm moving on,
It's been a long time since I actually called you "mine";
I couldn't see it before, but you were bad for me,
but now I see you for who you really are;
You should've just let me be,
you are now alone but soon I will go far;
