How the Widow Maker Changed My Life
How the Widow Maker
Changed My Life

With each eyes blink I observe,
My life in constant change;
It requires of me, almost daily,
Some things I must re-arrange;
Problems, all health associated,
Prevent my accomplishing much.
Some days I’m feeling depressed,
Others, anxious, and out of touch;
But as I glimpse this past year,
I’ve never questioned why?
Because I’m constantly driven,
By a much greater force than I;
As death’s shadow lingered,
Prayer warriors began to pray.
In the quietness of dawn,
My departure God would stay.
I’m thankful my Doctors sagacity,
God didn’t compromise.
The “Widow Maker” has given me,
Renewed focus on the prize.
