How Much Sadness
HOW MUCH SADNESS
How much sadness is now in sadness?
Was it an old one which I once did miss?
Or they may have been my poems instead,
Reminding you of me when they were read.
When I did poems were done diligently
And to the thoughts flowed resiliently
As if a flower you recently have found
With flowing fumes not nary a sound.
With all of its grand odor soon realized
In my mind I had become mesmerized
Knowing deeply had something to say
So I wrote this poem for you today.
Knowing now That I am poem's sender
Do read it ever nicely treating it tender
And you will know exactly what I meant
It is you who my poem does represent.
James Romantically Inclined Horn
At least, at times. This is my first
supposedly romantic poem.
