How Far Does Energy Travel

As waves crash and sounds hum Resonance silently beats a drum No metronome in an empty space Energy buzzes amongst human race Sometimes thoughts emitted by me Land in the darkness, lost to what could be Then notable tingle, synapses snap When thought meets thought and bounces back Within poetic expression something may lurk A step out of time with all that is clockwork Chaos that suddenly is able to calm Addiction of sorts, though never causes harm I rest in the words that dance onto the page Try to untangle self, find some way to gauge How steps into mystery will lighten my soul Release the question or answer to feeling whole

Roping in such complexiy to put in a poem confirms the dexterity of your mind DD. Engaging read that stimulated thought. Some great lines, ie when thought meets thought etc,

Ahh thank you Paul, every time I read it my line lengths unsettle me but I liked the idea and it came from a genuine perception of the impact others have on my own concept of what might be a brainwave or frequency. Certainly when I read your poems they are a steadying force and I'm cognisant of that fact. It's fascinating that energy seems to have a power both in person but seemingly also from a distance. I'm not however in the know about the science haha! Thank you for your comment x

I can see clearly where this one came from Dilly, thoughts do have frequencies and every so often meet in the ether possibly through quantum vibration, yes poetry can be addictive and harmless, but also very powerful, when it perfectly connects with the reader, just like this one here does, energy cannot be created or destroyed its eternal! outstanding, cheers David

I couldn't quite capture what I'd tried to vocalise unfortunately, concept wise it was worth having a go though. I feel like I could sidle into a classroom and finish off a quantum physics mathematical equation that had never before been solved with all this praise haha! Maybe I should - that will take the wind out of my sails lol since I don't even know the times tables by heart :) thanks for your comment, always appreciated
