How Does the Soul Enter Heaven

each morn' I surrender my sins ...
          to God ...  my heavenly father
        I pray for help to let go
     of all my fragmented past regrets
            and failures
and help to live in his light

          ~  and when my days end in this earthly realm
I shall shed this human form and my soul will float above
        like a sparkling light I will enter the gate ~

      he knows I am not perfect
        but, he loves me just the same and forgives all
for he holds my hand when I am afraid
and carries me when I am broken
             he listens 

my soul will be light as a feather
         and I will spread my angel wings like a bird
there will be nothing but peace and tranquility for my soul ~

for God has considered my cries and tears
        watched my good deeds done
          seen my compassion for others
      witnessed my kindness and seen my good
        and whispered ...  bless you my child
          so, in my last breath I leave all pain behind
      and know only serenity ...  I will open my souls gate
to dwell everlasting with God in heaven

          ~  I will be a light shining in his high tower
ever to be part of his heavenly realm  ~

Constance, I like your focus on the confession and ready forgiveness of sin by our Lord. We cannot comprehend what heaven will be like - we don't need to b/c it will be perfect like our Father planned from the beginning of time.
