How Do You Feel Today
How do you feel today?
As the dawn is breaking;
Never must you let slip away
The promise of the morning.
Speak when you are angry,
The best speech you won't forget;
Long before you know it,
What was said you'll ever regret.
When you're feeling jealous,
That's a sign of obsession;
Counting someone else's blessings,
Instead of your very own.
When you are so confused,
The weather is not so fine;
But a storm doesn't mean
The sun will never shine.
When you are in pain,
It does not only hurt you;
It also does change faults,
Learning a lesson or two.
Is it anger or is it jealousy?
Either confusion or dismay;
Which of these four words?
How do you feel today?
