How Do I Love You

How do I love you…

How do I love you…
How do I love thee? Let me count again.
I love you to the count of all-star lights.
With the love brighter than all-star brights.
How much I love you? Can you count the rain?
That is dropping in an April campaign.
How much I love you? I’ll tell all nights,
with my kisses on your garden of delights.
How much I love you? I will be in pain
without you; isn’t this an obvious sign
that your love will light up my night sky?
When you are with me as though the stars shine,
and I sing the love song as I fly by.
I will do anything to drink your wine
from your drunken lips until I will die.

Lovely write. I love the sonnet form. I love romance and passion. You have done both well. I hope that you will feel better soon. Hugs

Wonderful sonnet -you are a master in this style (covering both form and content), the two breast of poetry. No ambiguities are there, but silver and gold and the sound of pure Christal. By the way: Did you read Christabel?
