How Could You
How could you love me, mother then toss me aside
As a resident sleeping within four cardboard walls?
Like sands through an hour glass of time-
each falling particle represent tears I've shed
.......Wondering......
Shall I intervene and begin it over once again
Perhaps you've forgotten the touch of kindred spirit-
That resounded at my entrance in this world.
Even so the bond of development for nine months-
Has the severing of the cord severed love for me?
Of who I once was to you, dear mother.
As a nomadic desert dweller seeking lone destiny
on bended knee I pray await some sign.
......Wondering.......
Could you love me, dear mother then toss me aside?..
