HOW CAN YOU LOVE A STRANGER-
O’ how can you love a stranger?
When a stranger, you DON’T KNOW;
The Lord watches over the foreigner;
Sustains the fatherless and the widow;
Administer true justice;
Show mercy and compassion to one another;
Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless;
WE ARE ALL STRANGERS.
THIS WORLD IS NOT OUR HOME.
OUR CITIZENSHIP IS IN HEAVEN
O’ how can you love a stranger?
Stranger a person whom one does not know;
With whom one is not familiar;
Stranger is someone you've never met;
Or have no prior relationship with;
Unknown person newcomer;
Reminder to be generous and kind to all;
Yet you don’t know me from Adam to Paul;
WE ARE ALL STRANGERS.
THIS WORLD IS NOT OUR HOME.
OUR CITIZENSHIP IS IN HEAVEN
How can you love a stranger?
In him there could be danger
Truths be to God
So if there’s God in me,
And I am an Angel;
Yet I surely be;
WE ARE ALL STRANGERS.
THIS WORLD IS NOT OUR HOME.
OUR CITIZENSHIP IS IN HEAVEN
I was a stranger;
Unfamiliar with the environment;
Being a stranger ;
In a place, in a space;
Means you are unfamiliar;
With the environment;
In being so, how do you know?
How do you love a stranger?
O’ how can you love a stranger?
When a stranger, you DON’T KNOW;
The Lord watches over the foreigner;
Do not forget to entertain strangers,
for by so doing some people
----- have entertained angels without knowing it."
