How Can Deep Folly, Abject Blindness Banish Hope, Part Three

How Can Deep Folly, Abject Blindness Banish Hope (How Easily We Are Deceived, Hope Lost) I recall darkness, creeping edges of power ease of entry in that first forlorn hour. No worries, as it entered with its soothing host aye, but with one true goal, my soul to roast. Thinking back, my guard I had foolishly let down enters blackest stain, upon discarded gown. This heart had abandon once intelligent mind all in the name of glory, love to find! So clear now, that wondrous Light I gladly blew out with glee and joy this lost soul gave a shout. How can deep folly, abject blindness banish Hope? I willingly, was hung by my own rope. Aye, deceptive powers seek out Hope to destroy. Torture man and play with him as with a new toy. Robert J. Hi Robert, another excellent Sonnet in your series. Your words are so true, how easily we can be deceived. I always want to believe in the best of people and that can be used against you. I shall hold to my way as much as i can. These writes are most descriptive and hold such emotion Robert. Your thoughts always sing off the page no matter what the emotion. This write is another write that stands so well in the series. This is a seven and a fave Robert. Your Friend always....Mike.

I love your poem Robert. You are so right. How easily we can get deceived, swept away, or left disillusioned. Hope and love can work together and fight back all the darkness if we give them a chance. Sadly, some people remain deaf to their calling:) Amitiés

Thank you much my friend. You are correct, far too many people fail to appreciate the great promise of Hope.. In this world that is growing darker everyday, having Hope and its great promises, is more important than ever, IMHO.

Thank you my friend. Light merely blown out in poetic verses my friend, not in my real life.. I have a great and deep Hope to live to see my son a grown man, married with children of his own, and he is only ten years old now.
