Hot to Trot!

A new bride decided to cook
first time, but she trusted to luck.
Her spiced curry buns
gave hubby the runs;
next time, use a recipe book!

This happens to new brides! In their enthusiasm to please their hubbies, they overdo not knowing the ABC of cooking and land them in difficulty. Very humorous, dear Terry.

When I read the title, I thought you had penned a 'bawdy' like my limerick that you kindly commented on. Great title-innuendo leading to a treat of a poem with precise rhythm - challenge for me, but one I enjoy. If the Queen of Limericks, Jan, gives her seal of 'good', it's good. CayCay.

Oh no! If he's a kindly gent, he'll get past it and might even learn to do some of the cookin' himself. What fun if they'd cook together. It leads to all kinds of scrumptious things ;-)
