Andaree

Created by Andrea Dietrich with a rhyming scheme AaBbCbcbbaA. The first line and the last line are both the same 11- syllable line. This form decreases in line length with each line getting progressively smaller by 2 syllables until reaching the one-syllable word in the middle of the poem. Then each of the lines increase progressively by 2 syllables until the final line of eleven syllables is met: (11/9/7/5/3/1/3/5/7/9/11). The middle word should be a word very important to the theme. It appears somewhere in the title or can be the title itself and that middle word also rhymes with lines 3 4 8 and 9. Centering the poem is also recommended for an hourglass effect!

If you should notice any spelling or grammatical errors...PLEASE...point them out to me, as I am compiling these poems for my new book. Thank you, Emile.

though passion and desire stir within each heart and life may soon have a chance to start when sperm and egg meet in mirth a soul comes to earth in hopes of birth yet above chances have no worth when partners decide love's dearth and some souls will fail to get the part though passion and desire stir within each heart (Andaree) July 26, 2018

I presume that the lack of capital letters and punctuation was deliberate, Emile? Apart from that, just change 'complying' in your note to 'compiling', I thought that the 'egg-timer' shape was an effective format for the theme.
