Hopelessly Hopeful
We strive to fill this bottomless pit,
To once again feel that undying acceptance,
Along with hope comes commorodory,
But we only find ourselves more alone than ever,
When we’re no longer useful to the cause,
We’re handed a red Solo cup of destiny,
Represented as a part of history,
Only to be lost in time over and over,
These events elevate minds,
Generation to generation,
We create an Everlong of déjà vu,
We’ve already done this,
A linear timeline of universe,
Mind induced inception,
Unwilling to accept our fate,
We turn a cheek,
Our search for meaning came up short,
We are left with the real reason for life,
Like a conscious robot,
We are dying to feel alive,
But we’ve been abandoned,
And left behind by master,
What’s your’s is mine,
And I’ll make you bleed for it,
A whirlwind of darkness takes us,
Possessed by the story of me,
And killing anything in the name of pleasure,
You and I are the same,
Temporary tyrants,
Pursuing the darkest of evils,
Understood as a behavior,
And tolerated because it's in our nature.
