Lonely is this night, grasping what’s here and now as nightwalk grows bleak… crushed weeds, skeletal trees : lamp posts cry not for me, while buds drift tripping the light. And as I pray, Cold is the gush like dying leaves like terminal stone where frozen embers still burn; to whisper mildly unspoken regrets words without shame: Against an inky night pride stalls, oh, the ego peeling the dark craving for baby stars; even angels weep finding me-- in that clasp of silence out of the woods racing with time… wrestling with uncertainty to reap hope until night’s end. Into the gaiety of spring loveliness of buds trembles and thrills… while on the hillsides twilight meets dawn : Life breathes filled with imaginings, soothing restless thoughts if only for this moment-- taming the senses.
