Hope Rather Than Doubt
L-ive with hope rather than doubt,
A-s you enter another year;
N-inth of January Tuesday
I-s welcomed without fear.
C-hoose hope rather than doubt,
A-s you face the morrow;
L-et your whole life trust
I-n God despite the sorrow.
D-on't be afraid of trials,
G-et up when you're down and out;
U-se your faith in the Almighty,
I-t's your hope rather than
D-oubt.
