Hope For Everyone's Mission

Growing up, remember the sinister kid
who wanted to be a mortician
Or the reserved young lady
who hoped to be a semiotician

Maybe you had a friend
   who privately practiced micturition
Or knew someone in ‘the other class’
   interested in insects Ordovician

I myself, as a budding dialectician
  spent hours perfecting my deglutition
So, see! There’s hope for all you future econometricians
~ if you can just find a way to pay the tuition

I love this rhyming masterpiece. Now I have to look up "semiotician" of course!

Look up 'micturician' too. You may turn a different color! lol. ~ gw

Merciful heavens! (That's an archived saying.) You've got some really big descriptions that upset my inhibitions! I'll google a few ~ for who of us knew ~ they'd roll off your tongue smooth as polititcians' Great job, Gershon! I haven't a clue what they mean :)

First-ever comparison to a politician for me, Ann. Interesting. I have the diplomatic skills of a bull in a china shop... :) gw

I'm running for my dictionary. Delightful poem. Entertaining and interesting even if I'm not sure of some of the words. Stay frosty my friend.

You're not the only one, David. I'm not sure of some of the words in this one either -- and I wrote it. :) gw
