Hope Comes Round
...it is impossible for God to lie, we who have taken refuge would have strong encouragement to hold firmly to the hope set before us."

A parent encouraged and advised me
to stay on top when testing the waters.
People, assignments, schedules -
God's Solution - wind and weight beneath my wings.
A sound teacher is someone
who imparts the truth.
To a fledgling, apprentice sailor.
God’s Scripture is my teacher, my lynchpin.
A mentor, further aide in growth
when a student misconstrues.
Lessons come with fewer mistakes when
God's Spirit is the killick as mentor.
An anchor is one worthy of trust
to hold one to account
for truths mastered daily,
God's Son is my Anchor, yea my Cornerstone.
