Hooray for Summer Winter's a bummer and Spring barely showed her face. It's time a warm sun allowed outdoor fun to spread all over the place. When color's in bloom Her scents fill the room and Summer makes Her debut. Garlands of flowers gifted by showers, crown Her gown of sparkling dew. I can hardly wait Summer's at the gate, and I'm keen to let Her in. Like a pepper pot She is sizzling hot, and I feel Her heat begin. To the beach, I'll go, where I'll take things slow feeling light as a feather. And it’ll feel so grand my toes in the sand, soaking in Her warm weather. (Alouette) 6/23/2021
