Homosexuality

Homosexuality, a love that's true, Not inferior from the love of me and you. It's a bond transcending gender and race, A relationship that time and judgment cannot erase. For some, it may be hard to understand, But love who you want, either woman or man. It's a sentiment that fills the soul with joy, And no one has the right to try and destroy. Society's norms may try to suppress, But love can not be silenced; it will always persist. Let us observe those who love differently, For the courage and resilience that they embody. Homosexuality is not a choice, It's an element of who we are, a unique voice. Let's embrace diversity and equity, And build a universe of love and unity. Always remember, love is what it’s about, It’s a force that conquers fear and doubt. So let us celebrate all love that blooms, And allow each other to freely choose. Let’s all accept the colors of a rainbow, And let all forms of love lustrously glow. There shall be no bigotry against gender identity, And this poem is dedicated to Tyler Clementi.
