Home-Coming Pigeons
Home-coming Pigeons
Most treasured part, from the rest,
Is the inside of a Pigeon’s breast:
*
Pigeons are a swift and furthest flier
Yet, back Home they always retire;
Unlike lovesick men; a headless nail
Who sink both their head and tail!
*
Pigeons’ wingspan is incredibly long...
Pray! Toil must make hands strong.
*
Pigeons’ tact, manoeuvre and poise...
Evade the Devil with Hymn’s noise!
*
Power of sight in the Pigeons’ eye...
Lucifer’s lure we must quickly decry!
*
Pigeon’s nest in obelisk of Church...
Holy shelter Pigeon chicks to hatch!
*
Pigeons’ Partners are the happy most,
In age or in ailment love’s not lost!!
*
Most treasured part, from the rest.
Is the inside of a Pigeon’s breast!!
