Holy Night
My dearest friend,
I know we believe in the same God.
He loves you, and your family.
He loves me and mine.
Let us agree together,
That we love Him.
Jesus born, a baby in a manger.
A single man, born of God.
To lead us back to His way,
His truth and His Light.
He grew up and taught,
with authority and wisdom.
He healed the sick and weak.
He cast out the unclean.
He was and is all things yet to come.
They killed him. They tried.
They thought they did.
They hung him on a stick
and skewered his body…
with nails and spears.
They were afraid.
They should be.
Days passed, people cried,
Then the truth… came.
A trumpet of angels,
A legion of warriors,
An army of the faithful.
You can not stop God.
You can not, hold Him down.
He is King!
He walks even now.
He comes when called.
He is all, powerful, “All”.
None shall be left behind.
That was the message of all time.
Call upon His mighty name,
The power, His majesty, He reigns.
