Syllable count 10, 10, 7, 7, 10 is followed in all the three limericks. Terribly bored with workplace stress and strife, I planned a vacation without my wife. With friends, had a gala time. With booze, days seemed a sweet rhyme. Back home, knew life would be with quarrels rife. I went home gaily after a few pegs, Fell onto my bed dangling my soiled legs, Blissfully fell asleep soon. My wife came calling me “loon” Falling from bed, I could feel her hard kicks! Standing, I tried to kick her on her back. But fell down once again like soggy sack. Unsteady I was with booze, Reeling in a semi snooze. Yelling at me, my wife asked me to pack!

Oh, Dear Valsa, your candid portrayal of marital discord and escapism is both humorous and poignant. I loved how your rhythmic structure effectively conveys the tension between personal desires and relationship responsibilities. While the situation described is fraught with conflict, your lighthearted tone invites reflection on communication and mutual understanding in partnerships. Funny and insightful!
