Holding Together

Holding Together Lost in an oasis of feelings. Missing you so much. Clutching to your pictures and words. Scared to let go, of all the memories. Finding the urgency of these thoughts without you near me. Brushing away the tears, as the rain comes down our face. This place fills so empty without your laughter. Closed in, clutching my fist onto my chest, trying so hard, to erase the pain. Insane how my body feels limp, therefore hard to stand or refrain. Please lord, grant me your strength to move on. Sorrow comes in tomorrow, setting its stage, not wanting to turn the page. Weathering the storm is malicious , leaving us injudicious. Missing the pieces that held it together. When shall I feel better? When will this twisting and turning, yearning to have you back. Hold me, console me, and lift my spirits to a all time high. For now, I know you are a wanderer. Looking onward, as I look up. Through the darkest of blue skies. Just give anything to look into your eyes. To combine that which lies within the dust. Must I hold together these pieces, these fragments of unease. Squeezed life, for everything that it has to offer. Now sitting here feeling as if everything has stopped. The words seems to get softer, with each breath. Now there is nothing left, beyond silence. Which embraces the room. ~R.I.P~ G. Howard(A.K.A UNC) Darius Howard 4/26/2017

I'm very sorry for your loss, Darius. No words to speak to give comfort but a prayer will do. Do not let go of your memories for they are what keeps you going. Stay strong :)
