In 1812 Napoleon’s army got bogged down in it on its way back. The same fate awaited Hitler on his march to Moscow more than a century later, and later still, Russia’s counter offensive in 1943. Yet, those that fail to learn from history….., we know what happens. What Russian invaders did, one lone general called Mud might undo. Let’s wait and watch.
