Very true. Of course, we are only allotted so many years and the rest we have to learn from other sources. I remember things that my father told me but that is history from his point of view. Thanks for the visits to my page. Sara

Good, very good PS Sadly those not living through every generation cannot understand history in its entirety, They have not learned how evil man is. Thus we really think we can have a peaceful world. We are not God. Just watch the news. Man has not learned a Thing. Beheadings still go on in the ME. Look at the USA..murder central Some of us were kids during the Holocaust but Jew hatred burns all too brightly worldwide.

You are so right PS, clever Monoku, guess we should be experts explaining to our grandchildren about the Pandemic we have lived through. My father was in WW11 and my mother and her family, lived in occupied Greece for 4 years, occupied by Nazis. Fortunately, although they lived in Athens, none were hurt. That is how my mother and father met, when the British troops arrived at the end of the War.. I have heard many first hand stories, true eye witnesses. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

I thought of this when Bob Dole passed away. I told my kids he'd died and they didn't know who he was... I thought, well no you weren't even alive when he ran for president... :)

yep, unfortunately experience is the best teacher. As I have gotten older I find I'd rather miss the bumps and bruises of learning that way, if possible...I ask for advice! :)
