mantra /  this is a Refrain- but there is no SECTION FOR REFRAIN

His Song Divine My young suitors was pure and plain he attended me well I cannot complain For his love my heart would fain He was my swain- He was my swain. His disposition never cross he'd smile because my skin was soft Touching, singing in love we were lost At any cost-At any cost My sweet swain one day went away my life is dull no more to play Forever thinking "what if he'd stayed" My life be saved-- My life be saved The good times stayed inside confined impassioned by my memories shrine He reappeared no longer mine his song divine-his song divine When true love away has flown It seems that it is never gone I hear the echoes of your tone Seed were sown- seeds were sown

The monotetra is a new poetic form developed by Michael Walker. Each stanza contains four lines in monorhyme. Each line is in tetrameter (four metrical feet) for a total of eight syllables. What makes the monotetra so powerful as a poetic form, is that the last line contains two metrical feet, repeated. It can have as few as one or two stanzas, or as many as desired.
