His Hatred Your Love

I never liked my eyes He said they weren’t enough But you tuck my hair behind my ears to see the stars in my sky. I always hated how the cold felt because it reminded me of him, but being cold means seeing you. In your arms I’d like to melt. I never liked the way my hips hung He said they looked too weird but I love the way you made me feel when you traced them with your tongue He hated my body, he hated my heart and made me dislike them too. But you came along and made me strong to love me like you do

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
