Notes About The Poem

Wanting to learn new forms of poems, tried my hand at limericks.

High-heel-ette and drunkard

There once was a lady named High-heel-ette, Who wore only high heels, you can bet. She wore them to roam, She wore them at home - But her feet never once got wet! There once was a man full of cheer, Who wished for just one little beer. He got rather drunk, And fell in a trunk - That's what you get from one beer!

Two playful limericks with jaunty rhythms and cheerful rhymes. High-heel-ette’s devotion to her footwear and the drinker’s one-beer misadventure make an amusing pair, each ending with a delightfully absurd twist. You have soup mail.
