This message is sad but true. Watch a typical city sidewalk and 90% of people walking are looking at their screens. People at a table in a restaurant are all looking at their phones, even as they're talking to each other. Scary!

"You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law"... oh Line, your reply made me laugh out loud. I'm in quite the same boat. At least we have our spouses to keep us from going nutso...

Busted ~ I must admit ~ other than talking to my husband~ I'd rather talk to my poetry friends online than to anyone else.

Reading this I thought to myself: 'Hmm. This is a vision of 'The Future is Now!' for Sheri Fresonke Harper's contest... Just seems to me that you put it so nicely (esp. compared to my grim negativism in my entry). Just a thought... At any rate, two thumbs up. Really like this one. Smiles, Gershon

Thank you so much, Gershon. I'll have to reread the contest rules.

Yeah, it's a shame, isn't it? I know it is a good way to keep in touch with loved ones but still, I wonder if anyone anymore has seen a real tree in person.
