Rangitoto College

Textbooks, chalk dust, young men full of lust. School bus, school bag, mathematics, what a drag! Woodwork, hammer nail, some pass, some fail. Autumn leaf, summer sun, playin’ truant on the run. Asbestos fibrolite prefab, bunson burner, science lab. P.E. trampoline, tightrope, girls flirt, boys grope! Written: 1992 ——— I attended “Rangi” 1974 ~ 1977.

Bunson burners - almost forgot about them. Can't imagine them in today's classrooms. Heck, plastic knives have probably been outlawed in the cafeterias... ~ gw
