~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I wander about, surrounded by the hush of heaven.
There is a red hibiscus blooming in the summertime garden.
The sight of its touch enamors me: a morning kiss.
It’s a new day. I feel great surrounded by trees’ whispers and drapes.
They move in sibilant sound of the breeze, before the curtains open
on the majestic performance: the rising sun.
“A seed grows with no sound, but a tree falls with huge noise.
Destruction has noise, but creation is quiet:
This is the power of silence.”
Today I embrace creation and the poise
of silence: the Holy presence.
I again wander into the eloquence of summertime reverence
holding summer’s red flower: a red hibiscus
