Hi Honey See You Tonight

A flirty young lady who went by the name Jane,
Every day a new beau, was insanely addicted, couldn’t abstain
On dating sites, she would spend her day,
Hoping to meet Mr Right, come what may,
Instead, knifed seven times police said, she suffered inhumane pain.

Never a good idea to use dating sites; especially in the time we're living in. Well warned.

I feel sad for such people. She may be suffering from OCD. Dating may be her obsession. If she had been normal she would have learnt by now. A great warning for all flirtatious women. Jenny, Have a Happy Christmas with your family !

It's not much of a place to meet a date; sadly, people do it anyway. Well crafted.

Reminds me of the 1977 movie 'Looking For Mr. Goodbar' ~ not all lessons are best learned by personal experience

Ooo Hoo Hoo! That's the danger of picking up strangers. I met a woman on another site who had brought a man she met at a gas station home with her. She invited him in and served iced tea. She left him in the livingroom while she went into the kitchen. He spiked her drink and though she was aware she couldn't move. He tortured her. She is still trying to this day to get past that horrible day. The Moral Here --- Don't Pick Up Strangers. JB

Oh my gosh Jennifer. Good Morning. This is very vivid and sadly to say I bet this happens more than not to people. I for one never did this. Your entry is powerful. Thank you for sharing your talent. Have a wonderful morning and weekend. Blessings always to you and to those who feel the need for this type of relationship. Thank you.

Very tragic Jennifer, dating sites aren’t always good to go to for reasons such as this. Better to meet someone naturally and take time getting to know one and other… Belle

Tragic! Sadly this is probably more common than many are aware. Men, you are not immune. Better chance meeting a potential mate at a local church or neighborhood club, but caution is always advised I tend to think.

Where does this dark streak come from, my friend?! At any rate, I can only feel sorry for the poor victim. I think it's time for all of us to 'Just Say No' to 'social media' (whatever that is. lol). :) gw

oh my goodness. Not what I expected. Sadly, this DOES happen. I see so many true crime shows and it's outrageous what people do.

This is a fantastic limerick, Jennifer. In a world where stranger danger lurks in every corner of a dating scene and might pop up anywhere, it's reassuring to know that there's always room for safety. Hugs

Hello Jennifer, I think it is wrong to try to find a soulmate from the internet. It could be a dangerous man looking for someone to kill for no reason at all. Hugs. Darlene.
