Hi Friends

Sorry to inform you that my elder sister died of a stroke on 24th September. It has been a shock for me and the family and I am taking a few days off from Poetry Soup. So, I won’t be able to read your poems or respond to your comments.

Oh Valsa my heart breaks for you and your sister. I can't imagine loosing any of my brothers. How traumatic this must be for your family and you. I will pray for you to have comfort in this hardest of times and for your family, mother and father, siblings as well. I know that what anyone says to you it wont matter because of the love you have for your sister. It will take time for healing... Again I am deeply sorry for your loss...

Dear Michael, Happy to see you back. I know you are always there to wipe a tear. Today it is one month since she has passed away. It is pain losing a sister. Though I have almost recovered, the absence of her smiling face haunts me very often. Five years back, she became debilitated with a stroke and was on wheel chair. On September 19th she had another massive stroke and in a few days left this world for her heavenly abode. Thanks a lot Michael for joining in our grief. My parents are gone long back.

Sorry for your loss dear Valsa. I lost my Bible student last October, then my mom in November, then my dad this past June. We'll miss you

Losing those whom we hold dear to our heart is always painful. You know how it is to lose our dear ones. I was feeling hollow inside and didn't have any mood. Now I realize, being active is the only way of getting out of the painful memories. So, again I will be here. Thanks a lot dear Tom for your kind words.

Thank you so much dear Jez for your warm words and condolences. We were six, two boys and four girls. I have lost two of my sisters. I feel a great vacuum within.

Hi Besma, so happy and thankful for your prayers and words of comfort. I have been very close to my sister. She had suffered a stroke nearly four years back and was on wheel chair. Last month she had another massive stroke and succumbed to death after four days. We have to accept the inevitabilities of life. Hope to read your poems again.
