My grand, Katie, is 11 and studies a lot of poetry in school. So we worked on this poem together. This is just a random photo of an English Springer. Trip is much cuter :)

HE’S A TRIP trip is a crazy dog and he can’t wait for me. he dances on the ground, waits at the door, tail thumps the floor. he sees me and goes wild, and the sound of my name makes him go quite insane. where is katie? where is my girl? this english springer’s joy is admonished, as he dreadfully jumps on me. he won’t get down, sails into walls, as his paws scratch the wood, and his fur flies o’er head. trip you are a wild guy! i did miss you. i love you trip… Kim Rodrigues © 2017
