Here's Wishing You

Here's Wishing You By Franklin Price 8/1/2015 Here's wishing you an august August A very tepid time of year The last full month of Summer heat The fall is coming give a cheer We haven't really liked the heat Pushed one hundred very hot Soon be complaining of the cold When snow and ice is what we've got Not many days when we are happy Of the weather we complain Summer heat and dryness now Praying for a little rain When it rains and wet days come We complain it rains too much Want just enough to make lawns green And grow our veggies just a touch Be glad that you can still complain Be happy with the things you've got Be thankful that you're still alive Whether it be cold or hot
