No comprendo, mi amigo. "las llaves?" "cochina?" Traeme comida ahora por favor antes de acostarse. Tengo mucho hambre! Uh, Jeff, cochina means "filthy." Keys to the filthy? Hmmmm...I'll not explore this further.

True, especially because it was also a rather crass, suggestive double entendre, at least in some part of the country it would have been.

Exactly, I meant ‘cocina’ because the kitchen was locked, but I said cochina instead, much to the amusement of my host. Not the ideal thing to call your host's kitchen!

Ha, this happened to me! They locked the kitchen at night. It was Mexico, but that doesn’t rhyme with cocina / cochina. Didn’t expect many to follow, lol.good on you, Vickey!
