Her Silent Story

She sits alone Like a statue of stone Her hair in braids Of golden shades She feels so shy That she closes her eyes Her half smile sweet Is an eye treat He looks at her And feels the present blur Lovely was she And he lonely He loves her so Her eyes mirror his glow Makes her his wife Partner for life They sit silent And enjoy the moment Feeling at ease Their love brings peace 08/11/17

Love your poem, Jo, fantastic flow and very good rhyme. It would had place if you had the extra stanzas or the 140 syllables as it stands it sounds great. Thank you for guiding me to it.. I enjoyed reading it. ~*
