Her Painting Reminds Me
Her Painting Reminds Me
Her painting reminds me of dangers of this earth
fast fleeing years and hours, what are they truly worth?
Bad times, when deep blues bring on long nights so weary
MORNS ARRIVE WITH PALE SUNBEAMS AND SHADOWS DREARY!
When paths race on to panic in darkest of dreams
find life is folly and falling for evil schemes.
Where tall trees rain down huge limbs upon aching heads
if we survive, we spend years on serious meds!
Yes dear! Your painted face brings such terrors anew
with images of relief now so long overdue.
Yet every time I reach over to take it down
I see it change, to an even more wicked frown!
Cursed painting reminds me of times on this earth
fast fleeing years and hours, what are they truly worth?
