Her Onyx

. Greek she is Yes in reality And as I crossed The threshold of the abode In which she entertains sensationally with no calm her onyx from beginning to end thrash mine mane and score mine back In what manner our wears Ceased to swathe our Flesh I have only this to attest to bathe did throb though tender her touch and to drape myself took longer for she refused to dress

The name comes from the Greek word 'onyx', which means nail or claw. The story is that one day the frisky Cupid cut the divine fingernails of Venus with an arrowhead while she was sleeping. He left the clippings scattered on the sand and the fates turned them into stone so that no part of the heavenly body would ever perish. Jimmy taught me!!!! whoopie mythology!
