Her Love

Her love is like
wild honey that
seeps from a tree
sap so tender

It is generous at dawn
honey sweet sap
that runs through
her intimate garden

It is love that
comes like a candle flame
or like the morning sun
lighting up the sky

Her love comes at night
it is felonious
ransacks my heart
with the hand of a goddess

Her sweet love
consoles my soul
spills into my eyes
the deepest dreams

I would walk over coals
for the moon of her lips
and to find the blind wind
of her silky ebony body...
