Autumn Beauty
She spoke in hushed anticipation, "I shall ride the river of vast depths deeper than the skies of blue, softer than a silken touch brushed upon the brow, I shall drift like a gentle leaf floating through the peaceful Autumn fortess, yearning to reach the city, the city of peace where I will birth my first son".

drapped upon the breeze
a needle stitch quilt
Reaching the shoreline she runs her finger tips upon the rippling waters of twilight and a tear of promise falls into the river of life. Upon the hour of drifting dream she climbs to her feathered nest grasping a simple love and in a precious moment a baby cries.

upon blue eyes
