Hello
The dulcet sound of her hello
Brings me back from distant thought
And soon I'd come to know
The melody her voice had brought
After a while friendship bloomed
And soon a song was in my heart
It wasn't long ere passion loomed
With sweet kisses to impart
We danced in spring like butterflies
And felt the caress of summer's breeze,
Yet falling leaves brought wistful sighs
Then snowflakes fell on the trees
But without rain no flowers grow
There's no hello without goodbye
And soon the music ceased to flow,
And in distant thought, I drift on by
