Hell In Mind

It’s an exquisite, excruciating, brilliant Hell in which he lives An agony, a torture, the finest steel badger’s trap Deep inside the arid zone It’s a blasted, blighted, bloated desert drought filling his head behind his eyes, Alive only with swirling-dervish dust-devils and skeletal, giant tumbleweeds Attended only by the incessant, bereft and tortuous screams of a burning, banshee wind

Oops! I almost forgot to congratulate you on having your very special poem featured this week, Rebecca. Wow, it's a great one, too. I'm glad I didn't miss it. Smiles. (I must have been distracted by the first ever End Line Word member contest (my first sponsored contest…See my blogs for information.) Anyway, I didn’t want the week to pass without congratulating you. So, Congratulations!!! Lovingly, Dane Ann
