Hell

The ungodly inhabit the infernal underworld,
They abide in this place of eternal perdition.
Bathed in frenzy is each innermost thought,
Because for their sins was found no contrition.
Fervent on earth in challenging God’s word,
Now they live eternally in a world of no decay.
* “Where their worm dieth not and the fire is not quenched”,
They had no earthly witness to put on display.
