Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, the French Jesuit priest and philosopher, envisioned a world where the inner essence, ('the within') of all matter contributes to a collective evolution toward higher consciousness. As humanity becomes more interconnected, and aware, its collective consciousness evolves and advances, converging to greater love. Friedrich Nietzsche stated that "Heaven is not a place to be entered after death, but a fulfillment towards which the whole universe strains."
Listen to poem:
Heaven is for real!
just look up into
the heavens
in the sky above
in the laugh of child
in the scent of a flower
in the touch of lips on cheek
in the joy of love shared.
Heaven is for real!
it's in the here and now.
It's in the within of
all things we
know for certain contain,
heavenly morsels,
that we can see,
touch, taste, hear,
and really feel,
make heaven
real.
