Heaven
As I'd entered with my arms outstretched I'd submitted
myself to a lifelong commitment, to all the pearls I'm permitted;
treasures of heaven I have fitted.
My home in heaven is the ultimate dream.
In the parlor my husband sits with a starry gleam,
joined by my dad, sister, grandparents, and friends all laughing as a team.
A balm of perfection, a crystal-clear sea,
glorious blooms in the field of an emerald forest, paradise to me,
full of God's animals small and large in one place to see.
A home with new and perfect body.
Everyone is gentle and sweet never to compete with anybody.
No more sorrow or crying, nor anger.
No more pain or death. No more hunger.
No more broken promises nor a broken heart.
Wherever we are, we're never apart.
Cool summers all year round, always just right.
Calvary's love that burns bright,
there is no lack of kindliness;
Christ has made us worthy of all of it with His forgiveness.
