HEAVEN According to John in the Book of Revelation Heaven will be a place beyond imagination For those saved believers in Jesus Christ It will greatly exceed any earthly paradise We are told there will be huge pearly gates Rubies and diamonds and gems so ornate There we will walk on streets of pure gold Mansions of such beauty as never foretold Such wonderous beauty far as eye can see Freely prepared for you and for me We'll be reunited with loved ones and friends The joy we will experience never ends When we behold the Face of God And walk where Angels have freely trod We will sing praises in melodious song Heaven is a place for which I long The price to go has been fully paid By Christ who in a borrowed tomb was laid After His crucifixion and death on the Cross Though many felt that all was lost The ultimate sacrifice for us had been made And on the third day Christ arose from the grave He ascended to the Father in Heaven above To receive us there because of His great love Now eternity in Heaven is the gift of salvation As described by John in Revelation Without Christ as your Savior, you will surely fail And your eternal destination will end in hell 20 August 2018 For the contest sponsored by Faraz Ajmal
