Heart's Sun
She is like the sun,
When she rises, my day's begun,
She brings warmth upon my heart,
And has beauty beyond any art,
She is what my world revolves around,
With my spirits now space bound.
With a tantalizing shine
On her smile so fine,
And eyes with a gleam
So it does seem,
They are stars
Trapped within jars.
A heart cast out of gold,
Not a part of her is cold,
She is a ray of light
Who always shines bright,
Though she takes my breath away,
From her I will not stray.
She is like the sun,
When she sets, my day is done,
And as she goes away
She takes the light from my day,
But despite how dark things have been,
My sun will always rise again.
